Authentic Antique Persian Bijar Carpet ('Iron Rug of Persia') A genuine antique (late 19th to early 20th century), handwoven wool on wool Persian Bijar Rug measuring 1.3 x 2.3 m or 4'3" × 7'7" feet. Design:central lattice of floral & geometric motifs in natural Vegetable dyes, bordered with traditional Persian guard strips. Condition: visible wear consistent with age, but structurally sound with intact foundation & borders. This rug has been professionally washed in Doha last month (by Oriental Carpet Company). Loops have been added on the back (for those who love to hang their rugs on the wall). Note: I am an antique rug Collector. The authenticity of this rug has been confirmed in written correspondence by a foremost renowned Persian carpet expert. Only genuine interests will be entertained.
